Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Grifton Shad Festival Art Show!

This marks the 52nd Annual Grifton Shad Festival Art Show. All North Carolina artists are invited to enter their artwork in the following categories: painting, fiber art, graphic art, photography, and three dimensional. Artists may enter up to three pieces of art in the show. For adults (over age 18), the entry fee is $5.00 per entry. There is no charge for children under age 13 or young adults ages 13 – 18. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded in each category.

Art submissions may be made at the Shad Shack, 6851 Pitt Street, Grifton, NC on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Public show dates are Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Shad Shack, 6851 Pitt Street, Grifton, NC
