It’s time to turn up the heat! Join us at the 4th Annual Grifton Chili Cookoff for a fiery evening of flavor, fun, and friendly competition. Whether you’re a chili connoisseur or just in it for the taste, this event is for you! Be ready by 5pm at the Grifton Town Commons.

Entrants will be judged on:

• Presentation
• Aroma
• Taste
• Texture
• Heat

Rules:

• Chili must be cooked on site
• Set up begins as early as 10a.m.
• Entrant must cook at least 3 gallons of chili
• Entrant must provide his/her own cooking utensils (gas cooker, pot, knives, ect) & ingredients
• Must have a serving spoon. Keep in mind the tasting cups are small.
• Chili must be ready to serve by 5pm
• Judging starts at 5:30pm
